This brick has a unique manufacturing process using a semi-handmade waterstruck method which is bespoke to Petersen. The D81 is a 50/50 blend of the D71 and D91. This blend has a beautiful harmony, as does the relationship between the 2 brick types as the D91 is created by double firing the D71.
