Nic White
Chief Executive
Nic is an architecture graduate with over 20 years front line experience helping architects to enhance their facade and landscaping concepts and achieve outstanding aesthetics. Nic ‘s understanding of design and construction includes an extensive knowledge of precast brick elements and reconstituted stone. He has been personally involved in several award-winning projects.
Erkan Nihat
Technical Sales Consultant
With a background in property development and sales, Erkan joined European Building Materials in technical sales at the start of 2015. Erkan works with London architects and their clients. He has developed glazed bricks in conjunction with one of our manufacturing partners.
Mark Procter
Supplier Relations
With an expert knowledge of brick manufacturing techniques, clay sources and mortars, Mark Procter joined European Building Materials in 2016. Among his roles, Mark is developing new supplier sources.
Nic at Ebm has been very supportive in the early stages of design development and specification.
He has helped push our understanding of brickwork, its design capabilities and finishing of this product, over the last five years and we now have a substantial and resilient catalogue of Award Winning Brick Buildings in our portfolio as a result – including our Dundee Council Headquarters (BDA Worldwide brick Award winner 2011), Forth Valley College Alloa and Stirling, The Battle of Bannockburn Visitors Centre and most recently our Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre Lanarkshire (which was nominated for Building of the Year in the Architects Journal Awards 2015).
Nic’s technical seminars have proved interesting and informative for all our staff and we hope to work with Ebm in the future with many more new and interesting products.
Ebm’s staff knowledge has been instrumental in the selection and use of bricks and glazed bricks on a number of our projects. They have taken us on factory visits, assisted in the design, detailing and especially the use of special shaped bricks. They carefully follow the projects from inception to completion on site.
